Full-Time Firefighter/EMT
Required Minimum Qualifications:
18 Years of age
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Vermont EMT Basic or equivalent at date of hire
Valid VT Driver’s License
Strong communication skills
Desirable Qualifications:
Firefighter Level 1 or 2
Emt-Intermediate
Hazmat Awareness or Operations
NIMS Certification
College Degree or Military Experience

Successful Candidates must be able to pass a test at the Central Vermont Medical Center that measures strength, endurance and cardiovascular health. Candidates will be subjected to a full background investigation and must fulfill the residency requirement of living within 10 miles of the station within 6 months of being hired.
