Did you know that there are 1,500-3,000 of migrant farm workers from Mexico and Central America working on Vermont farms? What are the conditions that created this situation? What is it like for these workers and the farmers? What responsibility and impact do we have as consumers? What connections exist between US and Mexican workers? Come and hear about the conditions that created this situation and the need to build connections and solidarity between workers in the US and Mexico. Peter Knowlton, UE Regional President, and Danilo Lopez and Natalia Fajardo, organizers with Migrant Justice/Justicia Migrante, will be presenting.
