CAN! volunteers in the Downtown neighborhood canvassed the area during October and November 2008, passing out the City's winter preparation guide.
The Downtown Neighborhood is comprised of the Cliffside and Historic Downtown groups.
- Historic Downtown!
- The Historic Downtown group is defined by mixed-use development, includes Main Street (until the traffic circle), and extends a little bit in both directions from there.
- Cliffside Neighborhood!
- The Cliffside neighborhood is characterized by its hilly geography and primarily residential nature. The Cliffside group includes the homes and apartment buildings to the west of Main Street, extending up Court and Cliff streets and back to the Capitol Building.
