The library is open to all without charge. Currently, the library is open every day except Sunday. UVM Continuing Education works actively with life-long learners, area schools, hospitals, businesses, the state legislature, government agencies and community members to match their needs and interests with resources available at the university. Both credit and non-credit programs are available at the center and throughout the region. UVM's Distance Learning Network provides access to resources, courses and programs via video tele-conferencing, satellite, and the Internet. Credit courses are offered all year in a wide range of disciplines, as are non-credit courses and workshops geared to fit the needs of the region. Vermont Family Business Initiative Assisting Family and Closely-held Businesses throughout Vermont OUR MISSION: The Vermont Family Business Initiative is a statewide membership organization led by the University of Vermont's School of Business Administration. Our goal is to give Vermont businesses the tools and support they need to compete in both the local and global arenas. Through a series of forums that provide interactive learning, the free exchange of ideas, and the opportunity to share challenges and solutions to business issues, we are committed to assisting both family businesses and closely held businesses as they evolve and strive to grow to their full potential.
