Meetings

The Planning Commission generally meets on the second and fourth Mondays of the month, 7:00 PM in either the City Council Chambers or Memorial Room in City Hall. In the event of a holiday or other occasion, meetings are sometimes held on the next Tuesday. The Commission may also schedule special meetings, subcommittee meetings, or workshops in addition to its regular schedule.

Most meetings are aired on ORCA Cable TV channel 17, which serves the Montpelier area. All meeting rooms and facilities in City Hall are accessible to persons with disabilities, including headphones in the Council Chambers for persons with hearing impairments. For evening meetings, the rear entrance to the building should be used.

Members are urged to let staff know as early as possible if they will be unable to attend a scheduled meeting so arrangements can be made to ensure a quorum.
