Attention Montpelier Residents:

Both the Montpelier Police and Montpelier Fire Departments are on heightened alert due to ice formations and slowly rising river levels of both the North Branch and the Winooski Rivers.

We encourage any individuals who have either businesses/property or reside in potentially affected areas to monitor the rivers and take appropriate steps to protect property that may be in flood-prone basements.
Chief Anthony J. Facos
Montpelier Police Department

If you have questions or concerns, please call the Montpelier Police Dispatch at 223-3445, or call the Montpelier Fire Department (non-emergency number) at 229-4913.
