NORTH STREET RETAINING WALL
RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
MONTPELIER, VT
Timeline:
Project tentatively scheduled to begin construction during the week of July 19th, 2010. Substantial completion of construction is expected by August 27, 2010.
Description:
The project involves the demolition and disposal of existing asbestos coated bin retaining wall and reconstruction of 1,060 SF segmental concrete block retaining wall with geogrid soil reinforcement and appurtenances. The project is located on North Street at the intersection with Hillhead Street.
Road Closures:
North St will be closed to through traffic at it’s intersection with Hillhead Street during the weekday working hours. The road will be open most weeknights and on weekends utilizing an alternating one-way traffic detour.
Construction Contract:
Construction contract has been awarded to Hebert Construction of Williamstown, VT.
