Introduction

Rewriting the zoning ordinance is an iterative learning process for everyone involved.  We are researching ways that other communities manage land use, and compiling a wide variety of information about our current land use patterns and how we can optimize the use of land and resources in the city, while protecting important environmental and historic areas.

The following documents represent some of the work we have done - it is a work in progress.  We welcome your comments and input.  The Planning Commission meets at 7:00 on the 2nd and 4th Mondays every month in the City Council Chambers of City Hall.
