Confluence Park

The Montpelier City Council authorized the Vermont River Conservancy, with the support of grant funding, to hire a consulting firm to create proposals for the use of the stretch of the Winooski River as a City park. This park was named Confluence Park because it sits at the confluence of the Winooski River and the North Branch, located on City-owned property adjacent to 1 Taylor Street. This project is still in development. See the presentations below for more information on this project.
