Winter Ski Programs
Sugarbush Youth Sunday Ski Program
Sugarbush is offering skiing and/or snowboarding for member schools and recreation departments. The goal of this Program is to encourage and/or introduce children to the sport of skiing and/or snowboarding at a reasonable rate. All Sunday youth programs will take place at Mount Ellen.
Program Dates:
This program will run Sunday January 7, 21 and 28, February 4 and 11, 2024. Cancellation make-up date will be scheduled for a Sunday in March (only if cancelled by Sugarbush). Make up dates will not be schedule for February 18th or 25th, 2024.
Clinic Times: 1:00pm - 3:00pm. Participants must line up by 12:45pm. All rental participants should arrive at 12:00pm to get their gear.
Eligible Participants
Children and youth from 5 to 18 and their immediate family members, guardians or chaperones are eligible for our five-day program.
Fees: There is a Montpelier Rec. Admin
$10.00 per participant - Montpelier Resident
$15.00 per participant - Non-Montpelier Resident
All forms and fees MUST be turned into the Montpelier Recreation Dept. (55 Barre St.) by Friday, Nov. 10th.

BKL Youth Cross Country Ski Program
Saturdays, 1/7/23 - 2/18/23 | 1:00 - 2:00 pm | North Branch Nature Center | $55 Montpelier residents/ $65 non-Montpelier Residents. Ages 4-10 Looking for a way to enjoy the Vermont winter? In collaboration with the Onion River Nordic Ski Club, the Bill Koch Youth Ski League (BKL) cross country ski program provides kids the skills they need to enjoy this lifetime sport. Our focus is to provide game-based lessons to ski, develop balance and agility, and gain comfort on skis. We will be based at North Branch Nature Center where we will explore the trails and fields together. Parent participation is encouraged and is essential to the success of the program. All ability levels are welcome! $5 discount for additional siblings. Register By December 22nd.
