During the months of March and April, the Rec Center will be offering Youth-Only Gym Time on Saturdays 3PM-5PM.
This time each week will be reserved for youth in 8th grade and under. The fee to participate and use the gym is $1.50 for Montpelier Residents and $3.00 for Non-Residents.

Call the Recreation Department at 225-8699 to check openings and download a registration form for Summer 2022. Deadline is May 27 for Rec's camp, and June 30 for FEAST Farm Camp.
We've got positions to support Spring/Summer needs for Seasonal Maintenance, the Pool, and our licensed, subsidy-eligible Summer Camp. Learn more and apply early!
The Montpelier Recreation Gym at 55 Barre Street has open gym basketball at limited times: Wednesdays 7-9 pm and Fridays 7-10 pm and continuing through the first week in May (closed on holidays). Access is for youth of all ages and adults, and youth below 7th grade must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Daily admission fees for Montpelier residents are: K-8, $1.50; 9-12, $2.00; Adult, $3.00; Family, $6.00. Fees are double for non-residents. Fees can be paid to the gym supervisor at the door.
Due to COVID-19 and staff vacancies, fewer recreation programs are offered at this time but are gradually coming back! Programs are run in accordance with State and City COVID-19 guidelines. Our office is currently open to members of the public for in-person business at 58 Barre Street. Questions? Call 225-8699. Our Capital Kids After-school Childcare Program is available 2:30-5:30pm for youth from all towns.
