Montpelier Historic Preservation Committee Looking for New Members

The Montpelier Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) is seeking up to four (4) members of the Montpelier community to assist with planning and advocacy for the protection and appreciation of Montpelier's historic and architecturally significant resources. The HPC meets on the second Tuesday of each month, with the option to hold additional special meetings when projects require. The Commission is particularly interested in professionals within the history, archaeology, architecture, architectural history, and historical architecture disciplines, but membership is not limited to just these. Over the next year or more, the HPC will be working on developing new Design Review Guidelines—a document that it hopes will assist developers, property owners, and administrators better understand the benefits of historic preservation and implement Montpelier’s recently revised Design Review Regulations.  For additional information visit: https://www.montpelier-vt.org/426/Historic-Preservation-Commission or contact Meredith Crandall at mcrandall@montpelier-vt.org or 802-262-6270.
